Laser Scanner survey – Siena – Piazza del Campo – Mangia Tower

The laser scanner survey in question was performed in collaboration with the “Laboratory of geomatics for storage and communication of cultural heritage (GECO)” of the architecture department of the Florence university, to have a 3D relief in the tower to compare with other types of surveys of the tower itself. We have performed full 3d scans of the entire square. (see 3d images).
